Janice Kraus
Founder

Janice Kraus founded Stagelight Family Productions in 1990, blending her passion for children and theatre into a lifelong mission. After spending 15 years in the garment industry, she made a bold career shift to spend more time with her family. When her daughter expressed an early love for theatre at the age of four, Janice was inspired to embark on a new journey.
Since then, she has dedicated herself to introducing countless children to the magic of theatre, whether in schools or local communities. Her commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the performing arts has touched the lives of many and continues to shape the next generation of performers.

Janet Youngblood

Janet originally came to Stagelight because her children, Megan and Zachary, wanted to perform in musicals. Megan performed in Janice’s first musical at Travis Ranch School. Janet loved to volunteer during the shows, and she started the Silent Auction as a fundraiser for Stagelight. In 2005, Janet became the Administrative Manager for Stagelight. This summer marks her 20th year in this position, and she has enjoyed working with so many talented cast members, as well as making lifelong friends along the way.
